Room was clean and had a comfy bed, plus a mini fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi was inconsistent and weak, though. The staff was friendly and offered helpful recommendations for local spots. Close enough to walk to downtown attractions, which was nice.

The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.
The room had a bit too much humidity for comfort.

The room was clean and well-stocked, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The temperature was a bit cold at first, sitting around 53 degrees, but warmed up nicely after a while. The shower could use some attention, though it was usable. I appreciated the good water pressure. WiFi worked great, and the ROKU TV offered endless channels, as long as you could figure it out. I would have preferred more towels—only two bath towels for two people. A box of tissues would be a nice touch. Convenient parking right at the door was a plus.

Great amenities like free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception. Needs better room maintenance.

The staff was friendly and helped us quickly when our air wasn't working. Room was clean, with a hot shower and good pressure, plus a fridge and a big TV.
It wasn't the cheapest place, but it's still worth it.

Comfortable beds, comfortable atmosphere with a friendly staff who were helpful throughout our stay and a conveniently located hotel just a short walk from the main attractions.
Nothing not to like.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Thin walls made it hard to sleep at night with noise from outside and other guests. Location is a quick 10-minute walk to the attractions.

Had a cozy Xmas stay! Prime location – close to town but peaceful. Friendly staff & spotless, Wi-Fi in rooms, watched wildlife from parking. Daily room service.
Room needs updating, dark & old decor. TV & AC troubles.

I loved how close we were to the main strip, just a short walk away! The father and daughter team were the sweetest and made our stay so special. Plus, the freshly cleaned room gave us all the feels of a little home away from home!
Totally recommend! ❤️❤️

Bears were a highlight. Humorous moments watching them rummage through trash bins added charm. The staff is exceptional—they remembered us from the previous year. Rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with a decent bed and a large TV. the bathroom felt cramped and needed attention. The AC struggled initially, leaving the room uncomfortably humid after a long drive. More thoughtful placement of the toilet paper holder would greatly improve the experience. The lack of sheer curtains limits visibility and stifles natural light. The morning coffee was appreciated, but a breakfast option would be a welcome addition. The location offered a perfect balance of accessibility and peace. Servlet potential is evident.

The staff radiated warmth and friendliness, always eager to help. The location was perfect—a quick 5-minute walk to the hustle and bustle but pleasantly quiet at night. the room had its quirks; while the cleanliness was decent, the bathroom could use a deeper scrub. I appreciated having a spot to sit outside, but nearby smokers dampened that experience. The weak Wi-Fi and some outdated amenities were frustrating, yet the comfortable beds made up for it. If you value a friendly atmosphere and convenience, this could be a good pick, but it comes with some caveats.

The room was a total letdown. It was dirty, with mud in the tub and stained towels. The smell of cleaner was overpowering, giving me a headache, and I barely slept thanks to loud workers above us starting too early.

The firepit was lit for late-night hangs. Super chill time, would defo go back!
Wished for more happening nightlife options for us party animals! .

Gatlinburg Mountain Inn offers a peaceful stay with unique wildlife experiences, like spotting a mother bear and her cubs. The friendly staff ensures a welcoming atmosphere, making it a decent choice despite the aging facilities. Just be prepared for minimal amenities and some quirks in room comfort.

I loved how I could easily walk to downtown Gatlinburg in just 5 minutes, enjoying everything from the historic Ogle Log Cabin to the unique shops and dining options like Hungry Bear BBQ and Whole Earth Grocery & Cafe, with a trolley stop right outside that made exploring even more convenient; the rooms are comfy and clean and the staff were super friendly, always improving the property, but the bathroom was a bit cramped and could use some better cleanliness.

the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.
there was a strong smell of mildew in the room. the location is on a huge hill that requires a long walk to get to the center.

The location was ideal, just a short walk from the center of town, allowing us to easily explore without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Despite the absence of breakfast, we appreciated having coffee available in the lobby and various breakfast options within walking distance.
Some amenities fell short, like the lack of an ice machine on the property and limited toiletries provided. The room layout felt a bit awkward, with the split bathroom design and dated fixtures.

The vibrant performances there kept the whole family entertained, making it a perfect outing for us. we enjoyed roasting marshmallows at the charming firepit on-site, creating unforgettable family memories.
My wife says that adding a kids' play area could enhance the family-friendly experience.

I felt like royalty with a massage and gym. The family-friendly ambiance by the river was charming. Managed by private hosts, I wondered if they were actual royalty themselves.
Just loved the challenge of sleeping with a metal bedframe! .

One thing I really appreciated was the air conditioning in the room. It worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature throughout my stay. I did notice that the carpeted floor in the room could have used a deep cleaning. It seemed a bit worn and could have been fresher. I also liked the flat-screen TV provided in the room. It was a nice touch to have something to watch in the evenings. One area that could use some improvement is the room service. It would have been nice to have the option for breakfast or other meals delivered to the room.
